Callie has a flour sack baby! In her Home Ec class at school they are on the child development unit. Everyone has to take care of a pretend egg baby or a
flour sack baby for one week. Most kids chose the egg baby, but she really wanted the flour sack, because you can put a diaper on it and you get extra credit. They drew the sex of the baby out of a bowl (there were even twins). She wanted a boy, so she was very happy with her pick. She has named the baby Andrew. She takes him to school and most other places. Once in awhile I babysit (he sleeps when I take care of him). It's really a
fun homework assignment for her. Home Economics is definitely her favorite class at school right now.

i bet mom drew andrew's face! :)
What fun! I'm glad he sleeps for you. I'd be interested in a picture showing him screaming for Callie :)
Actually Callie drew Andrew's face. haha
I always wanted to take care of a baby in school. Never got to do that. How fun for Callie. LOL on the always sleeping for you!
Trent was a wimp and chose the egg - he was scared that the 7th and 8th graders would sabotage it and try stab it! I think he is just a wimp and maybe lazy! Good job and good luck Callie! Oh and I haven't volunteered to babysit you are too kind!
good thing i didn't bet money on it then. :) cal did a fantastic job!
Does Andrew make you a grandma. And oh my goodness, I'll be a great-grandma. I don't know if I'm ready for that just yet.
