For Spring Break this year the girls and I had been planning a trip to Utah to visit Courtney & Daniel in Provo, and my sister, Cheryl, and her family, in Farmington. We also made a little stop in Las Vegas on the way up. We loved it all! Some highlights were:
- Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas
- Playing in the snow
- Scrapbooking with Cheryl until three in the morning
- Sledding with Addie
- Hiking up the mountain to an old mine
- Listening to books on CD during the drive
- Swimming at Bountiful Rec Center
- Sleepover at Courtney & Daniel's
- Hanging out with some of my favorite people
- Hugs from my nieces and nephew
We saw the water fountains at the Bellagio in Vegas and afterwards took this picture. It was in this beautiful indoor "flower/butterfly garden" in the casino.
The whole reason we stayed overnight in Las Vegas was to see "Phantom of the Opera". Callie and Sierra have wanted to see it for a long time. We loved the sets and special effects.
We stayed at my sister, Cheryl's house. It was so fun to work on projects and play with her and her family. We also got to spend a lot of time with Courtney.
Callie was really hoping for snow and boy, did it snow!It snowed almost every day we were there. The girls spent hours playing in the snow. We even got to go sledding the day before it left.
Callie and Brayden (her cousin) made a snowman and snow fort.
We got lucky and on Saturday all the snow had melted (however it snowed a lot the next day) so we hiked up to an old mine. Isn't this a gorgeous view?
The bat was to protect ourselves from cougars or whatever.
Look for the snowball Callie just threw.
Can we just say that WE LOVE SPRING BREAK!!

I'm jealous! It looks like you got to do so many neat,fun things on your Spring Break and the best part it you got to do it with some of my favorite people, too. What a throw with that snowball, Callie!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more fun than ours. It's hard to get away with a baby so maybe next year. Although, I do say that every year and we still hang around here. Oh well. A girl can dream, right?

I wish I had been there too :(( We have to plan another sisters' weekend so we can all have fun :)
