- Girls camp at Carlsbad beach
- Watched all the seasons of "Lost"
- Freshman orientation at CSU Sacramento
- SYTYCD
- The new Harry Potter movie
- Callie started babysitting & got a facebook account
- Sierra started learning to play the organ & volunteered at the local library
- Beach days (at least once a week all summer)
- Seth's tonsillectomy (I'm only putting that in as a highlight because it means the end of constant streph, ear infections, and antibiotics for months)
- Sierra got her drivers permit
- Bass Lake vacation
I don't have pictures of everything we did, but here are some cute pictures of girls camp...

Bass Lake
is one of favorite vacation spots.
We used to go every year for a week when the kids were little, but then we started going to some other lakes. So it had been 5 years since we were last there. It felt like coming home!
We spent our days on the lake...
tubing
wakeboarding
skiing
finding frogs
building sand forts (for the frogs)
playing wiffleball
swimming across the cove and off the piers
jumping into waterfall pools
and our evenings in our cabin...
playing games
doing "stupid human tricks"
chugging water bottle contests
watching movies & the SYTYCD finale
practicing our British accents (Alan just came home from his mission to England 2 weeks ago)
We were so lucky to have my sister, Cheryl, and her family and Courtney, Daniel and their friend Alan all come.
This is us!
(except me behind the camera & Cheryl recouping from surgery in the cabin)

No one can knock Seth of this tube, and Stan really tried
Wipeout!!

What a fun sounding week. Someday we are going to have to go to Bass Lake just to see what makes it so special besides family, boating, tubing, swimming, eating, evening fun, etc! Glad all you enjoyed it so much.
aaah so many of those places look familiar to me now - it looks and sounds like we had very similar weeks at Bass Lake - we loved it - thanks for your tips. Cant wait to compare and get more details!
Sounds like fun :) I'm glad you all enjoyed yourselves.
