We took a bunch of her friends to the beach to celebrate. Even though it was cold, the kids had a great time just being together and having fun!
We had a sand castle competition...boys against girls. I asked a couple of people on the beach to judge and the girls won 2 out 3 votes (we ended up having a tiebreaker). The boys' sandcastle is the photo above and Callie's name is written with seaweed. The girls' castle is below and won the tiebreaker because it was very clean looking.

Beach parties are fun! Callie is growing too fast though. Slow down, girl.

excellent photography work sierra. and i'm glad callie had a great birthday. she sounded like she was in a really good mood when i called her. :)
