Boys Water Polo Banquet

Stan & I have been to several high school sports banquets over the years. They tend to be long (about 4 hours) and boring, but we really enjoyed going to Seth's Water Polo banquet last week. It helped that Seth is a senior and I was on the planning committee. There was good food, lots of awards, speeches, and a video that the seniors put together of the season. Seth was given the "Reflection" award from his teammates and coaches. He was also honored for a motivating pregame speech he gave at a tournament earlier in the year and for being a "weight room beast". Traditionally, all the seniors give a speech at the banquet. Some of the boys spoke for about 15 minutes, but Seth's was about one and a half minutes. He just gave a little advice to the younger boys about how to do well in water polo.

I was in charge of the centerpieces with a very small budget.
This was great for the boys and really simple.

Nice centerpieces. Nice picture Seth -- great tie! Congrats on all the water polo! I know your parents are very proud of you -- I'm always hearing about the great job you do in water polo.
