Courtney & Daniel left this morning after spending a week with us. We had so much fun spending time with them!!
We had a pajama party all Christmas Day. (Yes, we usually stay in our pajamas all day on Christmas, unless we go to the movies.)
We watched a ton of movies at home and went to see "Twilight". It drove Courtney crazy that some girls screamed every time Edward or Jacob appeared. I thought it was pretty funny.
We also introduced Daniel to a bunch of our favorite family games, like "Settlers" and "Ticket to Ride".

Yesterday the kids played Banjo Kazooie on the N64 for hours. They said they had to do it for "old times sake".
We did several puzzles (300-500 pieces). For awhile they did a puzzle a day, but then after Christmas day, they got interested in different things.
We hope we can see them again soon!

I bet it was great to see Courtney and Daniel again. It looked like fun. What a great tradition to stay in your pajamas all day on Christmas.
Is it just so weird to be saying, "Courtney and Daniel"? instead of just having Christmas and knowing your little girl will be there with the rest of your family, because she lives under your roof... but now she is away and has her OWN family, so to speak?
My family always worked on a puzzle at Christmas time too so I started the tradition this year with us. Man, those things are addicting! I love the pj day idea... I might have to steal that one! So glad you had a great Christmas!!
