It seems like summer officially starts Memorial weekend for our family. So this year Courtney and Daniel came to help us kick-off summer. We love to spend our summer days at the beach and end the day with a bonfire. So Saturday, we headed down to the harbor for some summer fun.
We introduced Daniel to our traditional "40-mile stew" and salt water corn. Yummy!
Boys will be boys (they love fire)
Charlotte Reneti, Callie's friend, spent the weekend with us too while her parents were in Europe. We enlisted her as our photographer.
Stan also took all the kids out boating at Lake Elsinore on Monday. Daniel and Callie tried wakeboarding for the first time. They did great, but no one took a camera so I don't have any pictures.

Looks like you had a lot of fun. I still remember your stew and corn - it is a lot of fun.
Salt water corn!! I miss it. We tried to duplicate it for this Memorial Day, but it didn't even come close!
Somebody told me that somebody lost a ring on the wakeboard... Oh dear!
