We've had so much rain lately...six days in a row which is pretty amazing for southern California. I love it! The air is clean and it adds a little excitement to my day. When it's raining outside I love to stay at home, wrap up in a blanket in front of a fire and watch movies or read a good book. And I really don't mind venturing out in the rain occasionally. But no matter how prepared I am with an umbrella, boots and a hoodie jacket, I always get wet. I've also started carrying a dry washcloth with me to dry off shopping carts and the inside of my car door.Callie put a bucket outside to measure the amount of rain we gotten the past 2 days.
It's at 3 inches.

We finally got some moisture today. It snowed all last night and just stopped at about noon. Enough that the kids want to go sledding. Sure could use Stan about right now, our sidewalks are covered!
Rain is a wonderful refreshner of our dusty dry world here in the Southwest. We have enjoyed our rain in Arizona, too.
The rain moved from California to Arizona. It made for one really boring day as hardly anyone came into the library. No one wanted to go out in the rain.
