Sierra is 16!!
For Sierra's birthday, I contacted family, friends, teachers, and leaders and asked them to either write her a letter or fill out the "Sierra Questionnaire" I'd made up. It had some feel-good questions like, "What are 5 things you like about Sierra?" and some weird questions like, "If Sierra was arrested, what would it be for?" People were wonderful about responding and I put everything in a scrapbook for her and gave it to her on her birthday. I loved how she would laugh and smile while reading it.
There was a common theme with every one's opinion regarding Sierra. Here's some of the answers that were said about her over & over...
*She is...kind-hearted, stands up for her beliefs, musical, always has a smile for you, helpful, sincere, thinks of others first, great babysitter, & never talks bad about others.
*If she got a million dollars, she would spend it helping the less fortunate.
*She should go into nursing or teaching as a career.
*Things people may not know about her are she's fearless, a good actress, wants everyone to be happy, competitive, can't make easy choices (like what her favorite color is), and she was a bald baby!
Her grandparents also came to help celebrate her "Sweet Sixteen" birthday!

What a fun weekend! I loved reading all the letters to Sierra. After reading everyone's comments, she has to know how special she is.
I'm glad she liked her folder. You always come up with good ideas like that.
